Welcome to my humble blog! It is here you find my ramblings as I discuss the delights and dismays of domestic life.

However, I should introduce myself.

My name is Jessica, and I am from...lots of places. I grew up as a military brat and was privileged (and doomed) to move every few years; but I spent a majority of my life in Virginia, so I call it home. 

I am married to a hardworking, born-and-raised country gentleman, and we are ridiculously head over heals in love. I'm a lucky girl.

Together we created the punishment for all things troublesome and ill-conceived in our respective childhoods: our son, Kaiden.

 He is pretty much the most loving child I have ever met. And possibly the strongest willed.

When we realized we have the potential to create small, immensely cute creatures, we decided one just wasn't enough. So, along came Brantley.

He is as mischievous as he is adorable. He brings us so much joy.

Being a mother is the greatest sense of joy and accomplishment I have ever experienced. I love every joyful, grueling, messy, hug-filled minute of it.

So, my hope is to share with you my experiences on this adventure: recipes I've learned and love, exercise experiences, things to do with your children, new hairstyles, product reviews, and as time progresses homeschooling and moving and MAYBE life with more kids.

So join me on a journey through this delightfully domestic life I lead.
